Private Patients

What is a Private patient?

A private patient is anyone who does NOT have a Medicare card. Most of the time these patients are from overseas and can have some form of travel/private insurance. In these circumstances, you will be asked to pay for your visit and given a receipt to claim the fees back from the insurance company.

Fees

Private patients are charged for the Doctors time and expertise. These fees can be claimed from eligible Overseas Health Insurance or Overseas Student Insurance. Fee levied reflects the quality of our care
