Our practice provides a comprehensive range of services. We are a rural practice and that entails doing our best to provide emergency care and management of chronic diseases. As a general practice we would like to help manage your health conditions and work towards good health outcomes.

With the training and experience of our doctors and expertise of our nurses we feel we can deal with a wide range of conditions.

Please find below a list of services, but this is by no means exhaustive, and as general practitioners we are trained to help manage whatever health needs you may have.

Laverty Pathology are available from 8am to 12noon weekdays for pathology collections. 

  • No appointments necessary. To obtain your test results, please telephone the practice after 2pm daily.
  • The pathology collector can inform you of how long your test results will take to come back.

Services we offer to patients with chronic diseases

  • Patients are referred to allied health professionals and specialist as required either internally or externally.
  • Eligible CDM patients will have access to allied health professionals, five visits per callender year through medicare rebate.
  • Patients requiring pathology testing, ECG tracing and spirometry are referred to in-house pathology collection centre.
  • Patients have a choice of getting their prescriptions filled at the in-house pharmacy.
  • Diabetes case conference organised by Western Sydney LHD, are run monthly in the practice for patients who have diabetes with complex management issues.
  • Eligible patients are referred to have medication review done through visiting pharmacist under “Pharmacist in the practice” program sponsored by WentWest.
  • Eligible patients are registered with the Integrated Care Program whose medical and social issues are managed by healthcare providers within the Western Sydney local health district and coordinated by care coordinator.
